Everyone is welcome to April 30th’s Marathon Eve Fundraiser Lasagna Dinner!!
Online registration Dinner Places has CLOSED BUT there are still about 40 seats that be taken after the Saturday 5pm Worship Service at Ascension. First come first served.
$10 per person entrance cost, which buys you a full dinner! 10s and under cost just $5.
Proceeds will go to our ‘Going the Distance’ Fund to support our young Christians as they run the race with perseverance through the transition from youth group to college and beyond.
Registration for the Overnight is also closed.
Marathon Overnight Timetable (Saturday April 30)
5.00pm Ascension Worship Service (drop off overnight bags before, if attending)
6.30pm Lasagna Dinner & Presentations in the Parish Hall
8.00pm Marathon Overnight
Early Sunday Morning – serving in not ONE but TWO local options for the Marathon
12.00pm Pizza and movie.
2.00pm Collection from Ascension (roads should all be open by then)
Marathon Overnight Packing List
$10 for dinner. Breakfast and lunch are free
Inflatable mattress, sleeping bag, pillow and pajamas
Marathon Station clothes (it sometimes rains). You’ll get a free official t-shirt!

Collection instructions: Please come to the Kitchen Lot entrance on Ellsworth.
Look carefully at this 2022 Sector Map to see the runner’s route. But we have added 12-2pm watching Chariots of Fire as a nice way to reward the hard working volunteers, and give time for the roads to clear before parents start navigating their way to Ascension!
