Hello! Thanks so much to everyone who made the Marathon Overnight such a success!
Much love to our fearless leaders Asher, Austin, Britt, Harrison, Lauren, Lucca, Mari, and extra hugs to Leah and Kelsey who worked extra hard planning and preparing the event with me.
Thanks to the bringers of salads (Pattersons, Jabbours, Perrys, Fernandos, Britt, and Leah), the confirmation quiz teams, waterfall pourers (Henry & JV) for the Niagara team, mad-libs contributors, and everyone who put away tables and chairs afterwards!
But most of all thanks to all the youth who went to sleep (!), who served in one of our four teams (6am, 7am, 8am and 9am start) for multiple hours setting up tables, pouring water and distributing to runners, and for all their cheers, smiles, and words of encouragement.
Special praise to the enthusiastic team who would run towards the tired-looking runners and give them high fives, signing happy birthday!
