Youth Confirmation starts this Sunday! Our thirteen Youth confirmands join Josh Bennett and myself in Room 103 at 10:45am.
That way we can make the most of our time together before we head into the Nave for communion around noon.
After communion we then gather in the Hunt Rooms for pizza, salad and a guided conversation with our mentors. We finish at 2pm.
Regular CAYG events this weekend.
Friday 4:30-5:30pm PieDay Friday and 6.30-8.30pm CAYG for Middle Schoolers.
Sunday, 6:30-8:30pm CAYG for High Schoolers.
BUT NO REGULAR CAYG EVENTS NEXT WEEKEND (FEBRUARY 24/26).
Folks coming on the Niagara Falls trip however need not be too sad, as we are gathering for dinner on Sunday 26th, from 6:00-7:30pm, in Ascension’s Hunt Rooms!
Sunday February 26 is also the deadline to pay the next installment of $150 towards the trip’s total cost of $349. You can do so here. Choose ‘CAYG payment’ and Sub Fund ‘CAYG/Niagara Falls Payment.’
Thanks to everyone on the team who has already RSVP’d for our mandatory dinner, but I know it is not yet everyone!
And a final quick Shoutout to Jane BH who not only baked TWO pies for PieDay Friday (Cherry pie, and Chocolate pie), but also prepared the house, hosted, cooked for AND led a well-prepared discussion on teens and technology for fifteen parents in our house on Sunday! What a superstar!
