We also have the first parent gathering of the year, with Jane BH, at 849 Jancey, from 6.30-8.15pm, on Sunday, February 12.

Souper Second Sunday includes delicious homemade soup with well-seasoned around-table conversation, this Sunday on the theme of technology and parenting. If you haven’t yet let her know you plan to be there, please do so here.

Looking ahead to CCO’s Jubilee:

High school upperclassmen and volunteer leaders are invited to CCO’s Jubilee Conference on the night of Saturday, February 18 for just $19. That is six hours of awesomeness for less than twenty bucks.

We meet at Ascension for pizza at 6pm, drive down in convoy to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, join the Redemption Gathering with Danielle Strickland and the Late Night Concert with Lecrae, returning to Ascension around midnight.

And looking a day further to our first gathering of our Youth Confirmands:

Folks signed up to our youth confirmation process will be welcomed by Josh Bennett and myself in Ascension’s Room 103 at 11am on Sunday, February 19. After our lesson we will join the procession for communion at the 11am service.

At 12:30pm we gather again in the Hunt Rooms for a pizza lunch and a structured conversation between confirmands and their mentors, finishing at 2pm.

Another intergenerational growth opportunity coming up is our Niagara Falls Trip.

All thirty members of the team need to come to Ascension on Sunday, February 26, from 6:00-7:30pm for dinner, paperwork-signing, question-answering and team-building. Confirm you will be attending here. Thanks to everyone who has done so already!
