I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I always look forward to Friday, also known as ‘Pie for Breakfast Day.’ Yum.
Talking of Pies, if you would like to contribute a Pie to a future ‘Pieday Friday‘ after-school gathering, please do let me know! The middle schoolers who join us normally get challenged to ping-pong by my eight-year-old son, and then enter the kitchen thirty minutes later, exhausted, requiring a slice of Pie to recover. And yes, I do capitalize Pie, and not just because Jane bakes them.
But NO Pieday Friday this Friday, nor any CAYG this weekend.
Still on the theme of Thanksgiving, you are welcome to come to Ascension on Wednesday Night for our beautiful Thanksgiving Service beginning at 7pm.
