Last CAYG Evening of the Summer!

Hello hello dear readers! How is everyone this fine Friday afternoon?

Clearly, my mind is not yet back from June Terms. But slowly, ever so slowly, I am gradually coming to understand what day it is (with a 24-48 hour margin for error.) To those who may suggest I have been lolling about doing nothing, I challenge that: I have been sitting in the office experiencing the slow and steady sensation of my brain leaking out of my ears. (I am told it is quite common once you become a doctoral student.)

Anyhoo.

We’ve got some oldies but goodies today!

LAST Day of June Series!
Yes! This Sunday is the last typical evening of CAYG of the summer!
Band: 5:45 for pizza, rehearsal at 6!
Non-band members: 6:15 for pizza!
Program begins: 6:30 in the nave!
Program ends: 8:30.
Parents collect: Also 8:30
Collect your t(w)een under the tent (weather permitting) where they will be feasting on ice cream treats!

High School Seniors Nostalgia Night! Wed, July 6!

When: Wednesday, July 6, 6:30-8pm
Who: Graduated seniors
What: Presumably food, and nostalgic things

Emails with addresses and specifics will be forthcoming this coming Wednesday! And it is not too late to sign-up!!! Rumor has it there will be snacks!

I DO want to emphasize now though that the FIRST of our service events is this coming

Many hands make light work, and we could really use the help! I cannot yet say for the other projects, but THIS one will have pizza! Sign up to ensure you get your well earned slices!!

With that, dear readers I away away away to find what little trickles remain of my brain. I leave you not with pictures of cake, but the before and after shot of a gardening commission I’ve been working on. My work is nowhere near done, but I am pleased with the progress.
