Hello, dear readers! I’m smack-dab in the middle of doctoral classes and completely swamped (but SO HAPPY to be there!) so let’s quick get down to business:
——–
Summer CAYG begins THIS Sunday!
If you haven’t registered but you’re planning on coming to any of our June/July meet-ups, please please register so we can order the proper amount of pizza. Register now!
Important note: If you are in the BAND, arrival times are slightly altered!!
5:45pm: Youth Band arrive for pizza
6pm: Band practice
6:15pm: Non-band youth arrive for pizza in Parish Hall!
6:30pm: We begin in the Nave!
– The Nave is nowhere near the door buzzers, and we can’t leave doors unlocked and unattended. So if you’re held up in traffic and running late, please text me when you arrive so I can let you in! My (Kelsey’s) number: 412-801-2628
8:30pm: Parents pick youth up at Parish Hall!
The SUNDAYS of June

The SATURDAYS of July

We are still happily begging welcoming parents to help chaperone, as most of our fabulous Sunday volunteers are unavailable Saturday mornings. These events are also open to non-CAYG friends!

And now, dear reader, I away.
To de-stress mid-week I doctored a cupcake recipe I had tried a few weeks ago, and produced what may genuinely be the best tasting cupcakes I’ve ever had in my life:

Chocolate kahlua cupcakes (with extra egg and chocolate pudding for moisture, flavor, and texture). Soaked in caramel syrup overnight. Topped with a kahlua buttercream frosting and sprinkled in sea salt.
The folks in my class loved them.
Can’t wait to see you Sunday!
Much love,
Kelsey Nienna ❤
