Saturday: Church, Lasagna Dinner, AND Marathon Overnight!

Hello hello dear readers!!! How are you all in this, the downward spiral of our typical Pittsburgh yo-yo weather? Here’s a fun fact I learned today: Apparently when volcanoes erupt, static electricity can fire through the ash and other particles, creating volcanic lighting. As the heat and residue swirls, it can THEN create ash and/or lava tornadoes. Seriously, when you’ve finished reading the newsletter, go and Google “volcano tornado lightning storm.” The results are chilling, yet beautiful.

In a completely transition-free and unrelated note, this coming weekend we have the Lasagna Dinner, AND the Marathon Overnight!

Weekend Schedule

Saturday, April 30.
5pm: Church
6:30-8pm: Lasagna Dinner! $10 a head! 73 of the 112 seats have been claimed so RSVP here if you have not already.
8pm: Families leave, overnight begins!
Sunday, May 1
NO CHURCH AT ASCENSION, AS WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD ENCLOSURE ISLAND!
2pm: Everybody goes home!

Unload your stuff in its designated area!!!
Girls: Upstairs to prayer chapel
Boys: NEW Cats (see signs)

Yeah but I’m gonna be SUPER early, is there anything FUN to do while I wait for church?
Why YES! You can join ME in the kitchen and help with dinner prep!! There’s an extra scoop of ice cream in it for you. Plus bragging rights of being my favorite for the weekend! (A much coveted honor indeed!)
