HAPPY NEW YEAR!

DEAR READERS! HAPPY WEEK AFTER CHRISTMAS, HAPPY NEW YEAR’S EVE, and WE ARE GETTING OUR MONEY’S WORTH OUT OF OUR GROUP PHOTO!!!! (Special shout out to all the youth pictured who were so patient that day as we took multiple shots with seasonal hats, banners…)

Alex and I were reflecting on this past year and he remembered this time last year when we were uncertain if we would be able to bring CAYG back in person. We did so gradually and kept an ever watchful eye on exposure, health, etc. And at the end of the year, there has been no evidence of COVID spreading at CAYG. Thanks be to God!

But WOW! 2022 tomorrow! So many thoughts to reminisce on! So many possibilities for the future! It is times like this that make me thoughtful, pensive, reflective, and contemplative. Today my spiritual mentor and I were discussing this strange passage of time, and I thought it apropos to pass our musing meditations on to you:

Yes. Very thoughtful. And clearly still obsessing over my (finished) Church History paper. But speaking of thoughts! Thoughts become ideas which become events which become announcement material, which lead to newsletters! (Smooth, I know. Alex has taught me well.)
