Hello hello, dear readers! Kelsey here with your weekly snark and CAYG updates! How was your Thanksgiving Week? Mine was lovely- I celebrated once with friends and once with family and managed to avoid eating pie BOTH evenings without causing a fight!! (When you admit to not liking pie people take it as a personal insult and an invitation to violently prove you wrong. Thanksgiving Wars have been started over less.)
And now, for the CAYG NEWS!!!!

Wreaths Arrive This Sunday!

Wreath sales are officially OVER!!!! And we sold nearly 250 items!!!! Well done to everyone who knocked on doors, gave forms to friends and family, and a special well done to parents who brought forms to work and still allowed your child to take credit!! MVPs all ‘round!
But the wreath fun doesn’t stop there! Ohoho no no NO! NOW we have to GET RID OF the wreaths!!!! This Sunday we need help with 3 highly-skilled jobs:
10am Set-Up
- Carrying wreaths ten feet from a truck to our outdoor table.
- Stuffing wreaths into plastic bags
- Eating donuts.
10:15-11 Wreath Collection
- Continuing to stuff wreaths into plastic bags
- When Kelsey or Alex or whoever says “We need 1 rope and one wreath with a bow!” you respond with a “I know JUST where to find those!” and proving it. (Salutes optional but encouraged.)
- Giving greens to customers with a big smile and a “Thank you!”
- Maybe carrying bagged greens to a car
- Eating donuts
12:15-1 Wreath Collection and Clean-Up
- A continuation of “Wreath Collection” as described above
- Collapsing tables and making sure the yard isn’t destroyed
- Finishing all the donuts
CAN YOU HELP US???? And yes, if you do all three shifts, you DO get more than one donut! Sign up by this link!!!!!

And THAT, dear reader, is all we’ve got for you today! Ordinarily I’d have some humorous paragraph here to make the newsletter come full circle, but I think we’re all still feeling the post-Thanksgiving lethargy, so I’ll let us ALL go!
Ciao!
