Though regular CAYG is not happening until September we have a number of “off-brand” things going on this next week!
Just a reminder to those who were already contacted by Alex, the Harrisburg Mission Trip reunion is TOMORROW, 6-7:30pm with Pizza. 849 Jancey Street (aka “Alex’s house” aka where we did that “fun” photo scavenger hunt).
Friday 13th: Pray for college-aged retreat!
In addition to the general superstition regarding Friday 13ths, THIS Friday 13 the college-aged Laurelville retreat is taking place! Sign-ups are FULL, but do pray for their time away as they reflect on how they can “abide in Christ” together in the seasons of life ahead.

Alex is preaching not once but TWICE this Sunday! You can join us in person for our 9am or 11am service, OR tune in online at 11 to watch our livestream!
It is natural to wonder how many people truly read these emails, and it was ever so nice seeing all 5 of you as you picked up your CAYG t-shirts last Sunday! If you’re in the general vicinity of Ascension this Sunday morning, PLEASE come to the tent between 10:30-11am to collect your summer shirt. If you are unsure if you signed up for a shirt, just email me. If everyone picks up their shirt this Sunday, I never have to passive-aggressively post about it again (worry not, I will find something new).
Once upon a time, Alex lovingly told me that I wasn’t very fun. A God-send to CAYG culture, the epitome of grace, talent, hard work and humility (not to mention a phenomenal blog/email author), but not very fun. Something about going to any lengths to avoid playing group games… Well the joke’s on him because next Thursday we are doing the funnest thing I can think of: PLANNING/REARRANGING THE OLD CATACOMBS!!! (woot woot)
Yes, dear reader, we are hoping to meet once more in our old space, but it’s currently a disorganized mess and we need YOUR HELP! Join us from 10-1 with a noon pizza lunch as we go through the space brainstorming how best to make the basement a welcoming environment once again! CAYG-ers and Volunteers welcome! Please RSVP via this email so we know to order you pizza!
Saturday, 21st, 5-7pm: Bike Trip Reunion!
Did you more or less survive the bike-trip? Do you miss the traveling tribe terribly? Well dry thine eyes, because there is a reunion at next Saturday at 5016 Castleman Street! Pool party, pizza and plenty more to look forward to.
