Hello, dear readers! Today’s the day! The HaitiH2O team is due to arrive this afternoon!
Parents please aim for 5:30 to collect their belongings from the early truck. The team is due to bike in closer to 6pm where we will celebrate their return with pizza under the tent! Be advised, there is a wedding reception in the parish hall, so all bathroom stops will need to be done in the education wing.
Now on with other trip updates!
Following Wednesday’s… events… I am pleased to inform you that Alex was able to free himself from the tree and continue to chronicle their adventures. Again, without informing me what the heck is going on. But having gotten 10/10 from of the last batch, my confidence is up, and I’m feelin’ lucky!

With that, I have but a few last lingering thoughts, my dear readers. After such a long and emotional trip, who will we welcome home this afternoon at 6pm for our pizza party? Will it be the innocent bikers we waved our kerchiefs to last Sunday? These strange, sweaty and haggard hob-goblins (who I swear are increasing in numbers)? Or perhaps something else entirely?
And what shall THEY return to? Cheering and embraces? Or will it be pizza and interventions at 6? After all he’s been through will ALEX at last be able to return to Jane and the children, haggard but ready to rest and recover the life he once had?

OR dear reader, is it possible that Alex’s troubles have only just begun? That while he kept heart knowing all was well at home, something far worse was silently brewing??
Parents please arrive to unload luggage at 5:30. Bikers est. arrival at 6. Pizza dinner to follow.
