Two things to look forward to in the near future…
NOT regular CAYG. Big CAYG gatherings won’t reappear until after Labor Day. So no CAYG this weekend. But I am so thankful for all who were involved over the summer, and we had a great time praying for Josh and Jess Bennett last Sunday night! Pic at the bottom.
- The Bike Team (half of which is pictured above) returns on Saturday August 7, sometime after 5pm. Kelsey is hosting a Pizza Reception for us on the lawn outside the Parish Hall from 5pm (if the weather is fine – under the tent if not). So come join everyone to welcome us back! FYI – We set off from Ascension at 9am tomorrow, driving to the Haitian Embassy in D.C., staying overnight nearby before we begin our week-long pedal-powered return to Pittsburgh!
- The ‘Better Together’ T-shirts have arrived! And, if you signed up for the summer series and ordered yours, you can collect it on Sunday August 8, between 10:30-11am. We will have a table set up outside Ascension, near the big tent, so come and sign out your T-shirt!
