Never clicked so hard on a CAYG email before, huh? (We should have started titling our emails like this years ago…)
Happy Wednesday, E’rybody!!
What a wonderful time together this past Sunday! The rain could not dampen our spirits, and the thunder could not drown out the racket we have an inherent skill for creating! It was positively MOVING and INSPIRING watching me Kelsey and her mother “Ms./Mimi Stacey” talk about how imperfect parents raise imperfect children, how God desires to restore parent/child relationships, and more importantly, God is the ultimate heavenly Father who is always listening to us! How could it get any better??
Well I’m so glad you asked dear reader, as this Sunday we are upping the awkward with Josh and Jess talking about
❤ ❤ ❤ ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS!!!! <3 ❤ ❤
Relax, this is NOT a “Let’s Talk About…” session. As Josh famously texted 5 minutes ago in a group message he thought private: “We’re staying away from the banks of the hanky-panky.” So you do NOT need to keep your 6th grader away for fear of them talking graphically about the hanky-panky OR the hokey-pokey! Someday it will come but for now we shall abstain.
This Sunday! Everyone CAYG

We have all new announcements, so keep reading!

The Harrisburg Team will be departing this Sunday afternoon and are in need of prayer! For many this will be their first ever mission trip!
Pray that we will serve the Lord and each other with justice, mercy, and humility. That we remain protected from COVID, injuries, and spiritual attack. That we experience no car-related issues. That we will grow closer to one another and stronger in our faith. That each of us experience God’s love in unmistakable ways. That we also (somehow) get a good night’s sleep and rest each night.

And with that, dear reader, I bid you adieu. Alex is back in the states and likely to resume writing these emails (unless feedback suggests readership is up when it’s me…). It has been a pleasure and a joy passive-aggressively snarking out the announcements. – Kelsey ❤
