Let’s Talk About

CAYG is at the normal time this weekend (Friday, 6:30-8:30pm for Middle School and Sunday, 6-8:30pm for High School) but we are taking a break from our series on the Apostle’s Creed and hosting another ‘Let’s Talk About’ event on sex and sexuality. On Friday and Sunday night we will be modeling a ‘beautiful conversation’ between a traditional sexual ethic and a LGBTQ-affirming perspective.
Following this plenary session, everyone is invited to choose one of the following follow-up conversations. I am thankful that Pieter Valk, Jim Stout and Mari Stout will be helping facilitate these on the Sunday night. Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions!

The Diocesan Youth Gathering is Saturday November 2nd and, although you can’t register online anymore, you can turn up at St Stephen’s Sewickley at 9am. Finishes at 3pm.
Youth Confirmation Lunch on Sunday November 3rd, Hunt Rooms from 1-2:30pm. And you will get NEW BINDERS! You can transfer all your paperwork so far from the mortal dwelling of those folders into the eternal dwelling of bright binders. Thanks to all who have contacted me with their SHAPE spiritual gift survey results and are moving forward towards a capstone project with a mentor.
Two Ski Trips in 2020! Glad that people are signing up already. Middle Schoolers (and parents) can sign up for the Day Skip Trip (Saturday Jan 18th) while High Schoolers (and chaperones) can do so for the Sunday to MLK Monday (Jan 19-20th) Overnight Ski Trip. Sign up Deadline end of November!
