I have such happy memories of last year’s Christmas Dinner and Overnight Before Christmas. The smells of Christmas cooking, the happy all-age conversation around fifteen long tables, the roars of laughter when watching the high school Christmas movies, the applause for prize-winners, and to hear all voices united in a beautiful (and slightly ironic) version of Silent Night. And then, after waving good bye to parents and younger siblings, we had all the festive fun and deep conversations of an Overnight. Saturday morning saw all hands on deck, cleaning candle sticks, setting up wreaths, and decorating the enormous Christmas tree. It is one of my highlights in our annual CAYG Calendar.
It happens on Friday December 14th, from 6:30pm.
Due to the growth in numbers this year, and the limits of space in the parish hall, and the need to plan especially well for a big overnight involving both middle and high schoolers, we are working with an RSVP Deadline.
Friday November 16th is the deadline. Click here to see the schedule and sign up before the places are taken. First come first served.
