- Our CAYG Ski Trip is set for the Martin Luther King Jr Weekend (Sunday 14th-Monday 15th). Places are limited so first come first served. Download the application form CAYG 2018 SKI APPLICATION PERMISSION and your place is guaranteed when the completed form and payment have been returned to me!
- Our Grand Attendance Draw happens at the Overnight Before Christmas (Friday December 15th). Currently those with the best odds of winning a prize are… Middle Schoolers: Campbells, David, Larkin, Oren, Riley & Zoe, but there five others just behind them, and High Schoolers: Ali, Charlie, Weavers, Lowrie, Caiah, Sarah and Sebastien.
- Christmas Wreath Fundraiser. Order forms will be released in November. The Fundraiser did so well ($1.2k raised) last year because it is a clear win-win. You make savings (up to 25% off RRP) on your Christmas greens as we buy them wholesale with a minimal mark-up, and the profits go directly to scholarships and subsidies for the spring retreat and summer mission trip. Last year the deal was just open to our Ascension family, but this year we will be making it available to friends and neighbors!
- Confirmation Lunch is Sunday November 5th, 1-2.30pm. FYI our next Youth Confirmation Program begins in September 2018, and is for those who will be in 7th and 8th grade then.
- High School Youth Group is this Sunday (6.30-8.30pm). Planning on another whole church game.
- Middle School Youth Group is this Friday (6.30-8.30pm).
