The first session in our short three-part series in May (‘You May Ask’) faces the challenges of communicating Christianity to outsiders. We will be thinking about that, as well as playing a surprise game led by our Director of Community Life (Lucie), and trialling the new ping-pong table-top (credit to Bill Campbell for carpentry and Kelsey Regan for painting).
The future ‘You May Ask’ topics include questions about why God allows suffering and issues related to same-sex relationships.
Sunday is MOTHER’S DAY (I hope this isn’t your first reminder) and to honor that we are not hosting the High School Youth Group but sending you out to honor the maternal figures in your lives.
June will see us welcome the new arrivals to middle and high school youth groups in our ‘Welcome to Freedom’ series. Starting June 9th / 11th.
July’s three day-trips are (following your presentations and votes at the Marathon Overnight) to Ohiopyle, Kennywood and Games N’ At! More details to follow.
