We will be working at a current remodel at a 15206 address. I can give you the exact address in person, but can’t publish online.
The main plan for Saturday February 4th (9am-3pm with pizza) includes:
– digging 4 holes in the basement, 24″ x 24″ x 12″deep, and mixing concrete to place in them.
– breaking up a long concrete sidewalk on the side of the house, also breaking up two sets of concrete steps. (somewhat weather dependent) sledgehammers, breaker bars, and maybe even a mini-jackhammer. (maybe)
There are other, more ancillary goals, but these will be the main consumers of people-power.
We provide everything for the work, but ask participants to:
– bring a bottle of water
– dress in warm layers, as the house is currently an empty shell…
– we have a ohm-gcf-volunteer-release-form that we’ll need the participants to fill out
