Like retreats? Love mission trips? Can we combine them? Yes!
Here is the provisional info for our Everyone Together Summer in Chicago
Tuesday June 27th, we drive from Pittsburgh to Wheaton.
Retreat: The big Anglican (‘mission on our doorstep’) Provincial Assembly in Wheaton begins at 9am on June 28th and finishes at 1pm on June 30th. Louie Giglio is amongst the speakers, there is a fun youth track, and the total cost is $135 per person, including housing, food and program.
While we are there we can visit the Billy Graham Center Museum and the Wade Center, which includes, amongst other things, the desk that Tolkien used to write the Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings!
Mission: From June 30 till the morning of July 3 we are involved in a 3-day mission trip in inner city Chicago. Housing, food and program cost $224 per person (transportation not included). We then drive back to Pittsburgh late, ready for the 4th!
So the total cost for our Everyone Together Summer in Chicago is $349. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
